Here's some shots of a new shirt we designed and printed. Kind of a chocolate ink on a sand or light tan fabric. If your looking for a simple shirt, this ones for you. Just a simple California inspired bear on the front. We take some pride in this design, because it was the first time we implemented a tagless label print on the inside of the shirt. Really wasn't too hard, just an extra step, but makes a big difference in the overall aesthetic of the shirt.
Never settle, and never give up. As we live our lives we are always believing for more. We pursue what we feel we are being lead towards. As we try new things, we learn its not always as easy as we think. This is a picture of our first attempt at printing a water based ink. We didn't have a good spray bottle laying around, which we realized retrospectively was essential. We didn't keep enough moisture in the ink and we ended up having a really hard...
Were almost at the end of June and we have already learned so much about screen printing. All the way from creating our art, exporting it to film, screen burning to different kinds of inks, and the list goes on... Here are some pictures of a couple of our own designs we printed, (we have these available for purchase). Also a job we just finished where we printed shorts sleeve shirts and long sleeve shirts. All shirts have a left chest graphic and a back. The long sleeve shirts have graphics on the sleeves.
In April of 2016 we purchased our screen printing equipment without a whole lot of knowledge on how to use it, we quickly got to work cleaning emulsion off screens and prepping those screens with new emulsion. We had to be very innovative in making our dark room and cleaning station. We set up a tarp and old bath tub we had lying around along with a pressure washer and we were off! Below you will also see a picture of our first shirt, not bad for the first!
